BlueShoes Media on the Town: Fabulous Editorial, Photos and More from the Fashion Network-Seattle Launch

After more than a year of Seattle fashion coverage and nurturing, Fashion Network-Seattle (formerly Seattle Fashion TV) has accomplished a great deal in our fashion community. The newly revamped website spreads awareness of local designers on a weekly basis, presents relevant articles to Seattle’s fashion readers, and keeps the community informed of significant events throughout the city. In celebration of a successful first year and its polished website, FNS invited Seattleites to SODO Thursday night for a fashion event unlike anything else this year.

Over 600 guests arrived via the “blue carpet” entrance, greeted by photographers and dozens of camera flashes. The SODO Commerce Building had been transformed into a multi-room, multi-feature party venue. In honor of Susan G. Komen, the beneficiary of the night, the venue was cast in pink as well as classic FNS blue. An “army of mannequins” manned each side of the building, each mannequin dressed by a local designer or boutique.
