On November 18, 2010, about 100 invited fashion industry guests celebrated the opening of the new Alex Lim Photography Studio in SODO's historic Bemis Building. Guests enjoyed wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages provided by Dry Soda, and finger foods provided by Baguette Box. The talented, young, fashion photographer calls Seattle home but frequently works up and down the West Cost capturing awe-inspiring, high fashion, commercial and entertainment photos. His clients include 7 Salon, Heffner Model Management, Breitling Watches and Intrigue Boutique, among other private and editorial work.
Idealizing the 'melting pot' them, both travel and cultural heritage have played strong roles in Alex’s development as one of the area's most sought after photographers. "I feel it's imperative to maintain a degree of realism, while still pushing the image towards a discernible level of fantasy, perfection, or truth," says Alex.
Coming from a martial arts background, Alex injects the same work ethic into achieving the desired frame; creating unique, compelling and effective images for his clients. His signature 'wing' logo is a constant reminder to 'take flight' to greater heights.
